melanoma is one of the most common types of cancer for youth and young adults ages 15-29.
our newest initiative hits home for the mssn fam with all proceeds going towards fundraising for Melanoma and skin cancer awareness and prevention. the leading cause of melanoma is overexposure to UV radiation from the sun, so as the weather turns nicer don't forget that SPF (and to re-apply every two hours), and a new mssn cap to keep your head safe.
after being diagnosed with skin cancer twice in her 20's Jaida Williamson, a best friend to the brand, leads the Captain Sun Safe team for Strides for Melanoma fundraiser. we'd love to help Jaida and team reach their goal by the event on May 29th in hopes of better days ahead.
$10 from every hat sold will be donated to our friend Jaida Williamson's Strives for Melanoma campaign. You can learn more about Jaida's campaign or contribute to help them
